AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi has strongly objected to the state government’s order to conduct a survey of unrecognized madrassas in Uttar Pradesh. He said that madrasas are under Article 30 of the Constitution of India, so why did the UP government order a survey.

He further said that the government of UP cannot interfere in our rights under Article 30. They want to exploit Muslims. Asaduddin Owaisi has described this survey as a small NRC. Surrounding the UP government, he said that stop spreading rumors about madrassas, when you do not give help then why are you interfering in madrassas.

Earlier on Wednesday, an order was issued by UP government to conduct a survey of non-government recognized madrassas in the state. A letter has also been written to all the District Magistrates in this regard.Actually, on the basis of complaints received by the Child Protection Commission, it has been decided to conduct this survey. In this survey, the number of such madrasas, the facilities available there and the details of the students will be collected.

According to Jagmohan Singh, Registrar of Uttar Pradesh Madrasa Education Council, the government has issued an order that the teachers and non-teaching staff of aided madrasas of the state can now be transferred with mutual consent. For this, the application along with its recommendation will have to be sent to the Registrar of the Madrasa Board within two months by the District Magistrate officer.

The registrar will further take a decision on this after conducting an examination within a month. Apart from this, if the management committee is disputed, then orders for the appointment of the deceased dependent can be issued through the District Minority Welfare Officer and the Principal of the madrasas. It will not be stopped in case of committee dispute.

At the same time, there is good news for the teachers and other women employees working in the aided madrasas. Now like other departments, they will also be able to get maternity leave of six months. Apart from this, two years leave will also be available for child care. The government has issued the relevant order.
