Once again the magic of PM Narendra Modi and Yogi Adityanath sucessfully worked on the people of Uttar Pradesh. However, there is news going on in the politics of Uttar Pradesh that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is behind the big victory of BJP and Yogi Adityanath.
Not only did the RSS run several special programs for campaigning for BJP across Uttar Pradesh, and to everyone’s wonder, it also worked to organize the Hindu vote in areas with a Muslim population. The Sangh had entrusted the responsibility of UP elections to the organizations from January itself.
The officials of the organization were given clear instructions that all should leave the mutual estrangement and get down in the field with immediate action. Many plans were also prepared to take the works of the Yogi government to the public.
During the assembly elections, Rashtriya Swayam Sangh ran programs like Lok Jagran Manch program and Awareness Voter’s Manch right from Kashi to Awadh and from Bundelkhand to Mathura in order to gain voter’s trust.
Volunteers covered 25 important issues through the Lok Jagran Manch programme. For this, a special pamphlet was also printed by the Sangh.
In these Jan Manch organized by RSS, there was discussion of the struggle for the Ram temple and its construction. And the organization made people convince that people should vote for those who provide security to women. The organization also made appeals to put criminals in jail and vote for the party which took strict action against these people.
An appeal was also made like construction of Kashi Vishwanath Dham complex, vote for those who increase the respect of nation-nationality and historical great men, vote for those who removed Article 370 and Article 35-A from Jammu and Kashmir.
Under the second awareness voter platform program, the officials appealed to the people to vote. Because usually, voters leave late to vote and sometimes forget to vote. That’s why they wanted that every Hindu of the state should go to vote and go as soon as possible, so under this program, they used to teach voters how to vote as well as vote quickly.
During this, the Sangh mainly persuaded people to vote on issues related to nationalism.
Most Focused On Digital Campaign
A senior official of the Sangh said that in view of the 2022 assembly elections, the Sangh had increased its digital campaign as well. For this purpose, they collected the WhatsApp numbers of people with whom they used to interact regularly.
During the campaign, they used to pay more attention to those assembly constituencies where the Muslim population is more than 30% and the Hindu vote is organized. To make nationalism a narrative, seminars of farmers, women and youth were organized from time to time in different cities. Many big seminars and webinars were also organized in a day under the banner of the National Council of Thoughts. But the BJP or the candidates were not invited on the platform of such programs so people should not mark these programs as politically inclined programs.
All the big office bearers of the Sangh started preparing for the UP elections in January itself to play every move possible to win the elections.
