UP Election 2022: Another Big Blow To BJP, Cabinet Minister Dara Singh Chauhan Has Resigned

Before the UP assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party has suffered another major setback. Dara Singh Chauhan, Minister of Forests, Environment and Animal Horticulture, resigned from the post of minister in the Yogi government. According to sources, he may soon join the SP. In fact, Swami Prasad Maurya, who resigned from the post of minister and membership of the Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday, had said that some more leaders would leave the BJP in the next two days.

Dara Singh Chouhan has written in his resignation sent to the Governor, ‘I am hurt by the disrespectful attitude of the backward, deprived, Dalits, farmers and unemployed youth, which is playing with the reservation of backward and downtrodden, I am the Uttar Pradesh Minister. – I resign from the board. However, there has been no response from the BJP after this decision. Please tell that Dara Singh Chauhan is a BJP MLA from Madhuban assembly seat of Mau district. It is believed that he may again turn to the Samajwadi Party.

On the other hand, Deputy CM of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya while commenting on the resignation of Dara Singh Chouhan from the post of the minister said that it hurts if a member of the family goes astray. All I would request to the respected dignitaries who are leaving is that their loss will be their own by boarding a sinking boat. He further wrote that elder brother Dara Singh ji, you should reconsider your decision.

On the other hand, SP President Akhilesh Yadav warmly welcomed and greeted Dara Singh Chauhan in the SP by tweeting.
