The Prime Minister further accused the Congress and JD(S) of “encouraging terror” and stated that they will never promote investment in Karnataka or generate new possibilities for the state’s youth. Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed on Tuesday that the Congress party’s past is one of “appeasing terror and terrorists,” and that the party questioned the country’s defence forces when surgical strikes and air strikes were carried out.
The Prime Minister claimed that the Congress and JD(S) were “encouraging terror” and that they were unable to generate investment in Karnataka or provide new possibilities for the state’s youth. “People of Karnataka should never forget Congress’ history and thinking. Congress’ history is about appeasing terror and terrorists. When the Batla House encounter happened in Delhi, there were tears in the eyes of Congress’ top most leader, hearing about the death of terrorists,”PM Modi stated.
During a public meeting here, he stated, “When surgical strikes happened, when air strikes happened, Congress raised questions on the capability of the country’s defence forces.” “In Karnataka you have seen how Congress is encouraging terrorism. Congress had left Karnataka to the ‘rehemokaram’ (mercy) of terrorists. It is the BJP that broke the back of the terrorists, and has ended the game of appeasement,” He continued by saying that the safety of the state is crucial for Karnataka to be affluent and to increase its population.
The Prime Minister stated that Congress has lost its warranty and people’s faith, and that their electoral assurance sans warranty is nothing more than a deception. He also stated that the BJP’s election agenda includes a plan to make Karnataka the number one state in the country. Among those present were Union Minister A Narayanaswamy and Davangere MP G M Siddeshwara.
