Kejriwal Government Strict Regarding Corona: Curfew From 10 PM to 5 AM, Metro Will Run With 50 Percent Capacity

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today held an important press conference regarding Omicron, in which he said that there is absolutely no need to be afraid of the Omicron variant but also should not be negligent. The Chief Minister also said that in view of the increasing cases of corona, GRAP (Graded Response Action Plan) is being implemented from today. Shortly after this, curfew has been implemented in Delhi from 10 pm to 5 am by the government. Earlier, it was said to implement curfew from 11 pm. With this, Delhi Metro, restaurants and bars will now operate with 50 percent capacity. It has been decided to shut down cinema halls, spas, gyms, multiplexes, marriage halls, auditoriums and sports complexes.

Arvind Kejriwal said that the biggest thing that has come to the fore about Omicron so far is that its symptoms are very mild, so there is no need to be afraid. No one is needing a hospital, oxygen is not even needed. But if you are careless then Corona will not leave. Make sure to wear a mask before leaving the house. The Chief Minister also told that this time your government is also ten times ready.

CM has appealed that I have been seeing the picture of the markets for many days that there is a huge crowd gathering. If this continues, the fear of spreading corona will remain. Therefore, I appeal to all of you to avoid going to public places and crowded areas. In such places, you should also keep a mask on.

GRAP applied from today

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that we had prepared a GRAP system a few days ago, under which restrictions are being imposed on some things from today. These restrictions are being imposed for you. I know you are tired of these restrictions for two years but this is for your safety. So, you have to follow it.

The CM said, those who are getting affected by Omicron are getting cured at home. There is no need to be afraid, there is a need to be responsible. We are keeping an eye on every situation. If there is any danger, if there is a matter of concern, then we will come and tell you first. Just wear a mask before leaving the house, follow social distancing and wash your hands frequently.
