Heated Argument Between PM Modi, SP President Akhilesh Yadav Regarding ‘Cycle’ Comment!

Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav has retaliated against the taunt made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the use of cycles by terrorists in the 2008 Ahmedabad serial blasts. Yadav said that cycle is the aircraft of the common man and the pride of rural India. Insulting a bicycle is an insult to the whole country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi surrounded the SP on the issue of terrorism in the BJP’s election rally in Hardoi on Sunday. He said that the terrorists used the SP’s election symbol cycle to carry out bomb blasts in the country. On this taunt, Akhilesh Yadav retaliated by tweeting. In the tweet, he said, “By connecting the farm and the farmer, our bicycle lays the foundation of its prosperity, breaking social bonds, our cycle leaves the girl to school, inflation has no effect on her, she gallops, our cycle, bicycle to the common people. It is the pride of rural India, the insult to the cycle is an insult to the whole country.”

While addressing an election rally in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, PM Modi referred to the Ahmedabad blast case and attacked Akhilesh Yadav and Samajwadi Party. He said that bombs were planted in Ahmedabad on his election symbol which is a bicycle when he was the chief minister of Gujarat. He said, “I am surprised that why these terrorists used to use cycles in the blasts… I can never forget that day.”

On the same day, I had resolved that my government would find these terrorists from the underworld and punish them. He said that sometimes bombs exploded in Mumbai, then someday in Delhi, Jaipur, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Ludhiana, Agartala, Imphal, how many cities were hit by bomb blasts, how many innocent civilians were killed in those attacks.
