In charge of Rajasthan Congress On Friday, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has scheduled a meeting of all the co-incharges of the party in the State that is upcoming elections. Govind Singh Dotasra, the president of the Rajasthan Congress, will also be present at the meeting tomorrow. As a result of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s recent claim that his predecessor Vasundhara Raje assisted him in saving his government in 2020, there is new unrest inside the Rajasthan Congress at the time of the meeting.
It’s important to note that Sachin Pilot, a Congress leader, was ousted from his positions as deputy chief minister and leader of the Rajasthan Congress in 2020 on allegations that he colluded with the BJP to plan a covert overthrow of the Gehlot administration. In response to the “inaction of the Rajasthan government” about the alleged corruption during the previous Vasundhara Raje-led BJP government in the state, Sachin Pilot declared on Tuesday that he will embark on a “Jan Sangharsh Yatra.” The Jan Sangharsh Yatra, which will last five days, began on Thursday in Ajmer and will end in Jaipur.
Last month, Pilot kept a day-long fast despite being advised against it by the party high leadership in an effort to put more pressure on the Gehlot administration to launch an investigation into alleged corruption during the state’s previous Congress control. The high command arranged a shaky ceasefire between Gehlot and Pilot after they had been at odds and had each fired rounds in the other’s direction. The new altercation between Gehlot and Pilot may worry the Congress as Rajasthan is scheduled to hold elections later this year.
