Centre Announces India Water Pitch Start-Up; 100 Ideas To Be Supported

The national level ‘India Water Pitch-Pilot-Scale Start-up Conclave’ has been organised by the ministry of housing and urban affairs today in the national capital. This conclave is being organized with an aim of starting communication with startups within the water sector.

During the conclave, Hardeep Singh Puri, minister of housing and concrete affairs, will launch the ‘India Water Pitch-Pilot-Scale Start-up Challenge’.

Through this challenge, 100 startups will be selected by the ministry, and Rs.20 lakhs will be provided to each as funding support. Innovative solutions for urban water problems are going to be exhibited by quite 50 startups.
The conclave also will be attended by industry, users, investors, and sector experts.


This conclave is being expected to function as a start line for interaction between users like cities, states, and parastatal agencies, moreover as start-ups, industry experts, sector experts, and other stakeholders.
The first-hand experience of the assorted innovative solutions is going to be provided to the users.

During the conclave, two-panel discussions on the topics, ‘Industry Platforms for scaling up Start-ups’ and ‘Leveraging Start-up Ecosystem to unravel urban challenges’ are held.

Speakers from Paytm, Quantela, Urban Company, Delhivery, Rainmatter Foundation, Zoho are going to share their views within the discussion on ‘Leveraging Start-up Ecosystem to unravel urban challenges’.
