Britain’s Queen Elizabeth Dies At The Age Of 96, Took Her Last Breath At Balmoral Palace!!

Britain’s Queen Elizabeth died at the age of 96 at Balmoral Palace in Scotland. Buckingham Palace, United Kingdom reported that Queen Elizabeth passed away at Balmoral this afternoon. Prince Charles has been made king in her place.

For some time Queen Elizabeth was unable to move anywhere. That’s why she was having her meetings at Balmoral Castle in Scotland instead of Buckingham Palace in London. Queen Elizabeth had been suffering health problems since October last year.

British Prime Minister Liz Truss paid tribute to the longest-reigning Queen Elizabeth II after her death. He said the late Queen has left behind a great legacy and has also provided “stability and strength” to the country. He said Britain was shocked by the death of the Queen. She was like a ‘rock’ on which modern Britain was built.

On the death of Queen Elizabeth II, King Charles of Britain issued a statement saying: “My dear Mother Queen has passed away. We deeply mourn the passing of my very dear mother. It is a great loss to me and all of my family. It is a moment of greatest sorrow for the members.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also condoled the death of the Queen. He said, “Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will be remembered as a stalwart of our times. She displayed dignity and decency in public life. I am hurt by her death. My condolences to her family and the people of Britain at this time of grief. During my visits to the UK in 2015 and 2018, I had memorable encounters with Queen Elizabeth II. I will not forget their warmth and kindness. During one of the meetings, she showed me the handkerchief that Mahatma Gandhi had gifted her at her wedding. And she said she will always keep this”.

Queen Elizabeth II was just 25 years old when she was crowned on the throne of Britain. From then till now, she occupied this throne for almost seven decades. She was 96 years old and was the oldest woman to hold power in Britain. Apart from this, the name of Queen Elizabeth used to be among the oldest rulers of the world.

Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II has completed 70 years of rule. She became Queen of Britain in 1952. On this special occasion a four-day Platinum Jubilee Celebrations were organized across the country. However, Queen Elizabeth II did not take part in the event. She was rarely seen in public events.
