Assembly Election Results: PM Modi Congratulates AAP For Punjab Victory

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has registered a landslide victory in the assembly elections held in Punjab. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the party by tweeting. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has thanked PM Modi.

PM Modi tweeted, “I would like to congratulate AAP for their victory in the election of Punjab. I assure every possible support from the Centre for Punjab’s welfare.” Further, Arvind Kejriwal Thanked PM Modi by tweeting “Thank you, sir. “

PM Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Gujarat from 11 to 12 March. He did a roadshow in Ahmedabad. The roadshow ended at the BJP office in Gandhinagar.

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut took a jibe at Mayawati and Owaisi and said that they should be given Bharat Ratna. He said that Mayawati and Owaisi contributed to the victory of the BJP.

Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal said, “Maybe there was some deficiency in us which we could not understand, but we will try to remove that shortcoming.” We will fully support the Aam Aadmi Party.

Mayawati’s Reaction After Defeat

BSP supremo Mayawati has also given a statement after the defeat in the UP Assembly elections. Former CM Mayawati said, “We are understanding the true reasons for the defeat of the BSP workers and learning a lesson from it, we will take our party forward and come to power later.”
