Anurag Kashyap is someone who speaks anything and everything that he wants without any hesitation. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, the Dobaaraa filmmaker and Taapsee Pannu were discussing Ranveer Singh’sSingh’s nude photoshoot and the anchor said that Anurag should also pose nude. Taapsee stated that it would be a horror show. When the anchor said Taapsee has a complex with Anurag, the filmmaker joked, “Yeh darti hai because I have bigger boobs than her.”

In an interview with Galatta Plus, Anurag recently spoke about why YRF films have not done well at the box office. He stated that Aditya Chopra should empower people who work for him and not dictate to them. He said, “You have one person sitting in a cave, who doesn’t know the world outside, dictating how everybody should be making their films and telling them what to do.” 

Anurag Kashyap wants the #BoycottDobaaraa trend

Anurag Kashyap and Taapsee Pannu are currently promoting their film Dobaaraa, which is slated to release on the 19th of August. In an interview with India Today, Taapsee said that she wants to be in the same league as Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan and wants her film to also be in the boycott trend. Anurag agreed with her and said, “Yes, please, I want our film to trend on the boycott hashtag as well.”

Anurag Kashyap on Bollywood films failure

Talking about why Bollywood films have been failing at the box office, Anurag said, “Because our Hindi films are not rooted, this is the simple answer. Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam films are rooted in their culture, whether mainstream or non-mainstream culture. But our films are not rooted.” He also said that people who speak English are making Hindi films.
